Weddings and Washers:)

This week we found out that we will have our Preconstruction Meeting on May 12th!! That means after we meet they can start on our house. Since we've done our color selections the builder had to get all of the permits to start our house and have the plans drawn up. At this meeting, we will find out which way our house will sit on our lot (which side the garage will be on) and any other specifics about the house placement.

On Saturday we had a nice time at Whitney and Justin's wedding. Whitney was a beautiful bride!! They wedding was in the Capitol Building downtown and it was really pretty---not to mention they had great weather. Check out the pictures below:)
Today we got a new pressure washer!! I really wish I would have taken before and after pictures. I was the lucky one that got to wash the house and garage...no really, I was the lucky one. Poor Steven had the task of cleaning out all of the gutters...his hands were black by the end of the day! We also got our flowers out in the planters in front of the house. I think we'll be ready to take some "outdoor" photos soon to get the house ready for the market. The next few weekends will be tricky though, with Dominic's birthday party, mother's day, and work committments the following weekend. Hopefully we'll get some more done through the week.

March for Babies

Last weekend, Steven and I joined the Gockley clan for the Indianapolis March for Babies! Will, Jess, and the kids have walked in the past in Memphis so we were excited to be able to join them here in Indy. We had a gorgeous day...a little hot even...but beautiful. The route was very different from the Race for the Cure, but was nice because it went around Monument Circle. After the walk they had a lunch and a jump castle for the kids. Thank you to everyone that supported us on our walk!!

Thanks to the sun from the day before, my shirt and face almost match!
The shirts were made by Jess...very cool!!
