Busy, Busy, Busy

Andrew's Spring Program
Race for the Cure
Dominic's Opening Day
Brotherly Love :)

Andrew in Steven's IU hat...Don't tell Joe:)

So as we looked at the weekends that are coming up we realized that we have something to do at least one of the days EVERY weekend between now and June (or maybe even into June)....YIKES! Hopefully that will give us some fun things to blog about! On Friday we went to Andrew's Spring Program, which is always so friggin' cute. Andrew is SO adorable (I know I'm biased, what can I say? He's my nephew!) Last weekend we had a great time at the Race for the Cure. There were a bunch of us from my office that got together and even more that walked (or ran!) as well! After the Race, we headed off to the Eastside to watch Dominic's OPENING DAY! What a hoot! Dominic started off as the catcher for his team, which was so funny to see...all that gear made him look really little...but really like a baseball player:) He played really well too, especially considering a lot of the other players are a little bit older. Of course, not to be outdone, Andrew had to make sure he was getting attention too! Talk about a little boy that looks up to his brother...even though they have their fights, Andrew wants to do EVERYTHING "Brother" does!! After the game we had a nice cookout with Joe, Kim and the boys, and Nick and Jaime too. Joe can grill a mean burger!

Coming up this weekend: Bathroom Remodel (hopefully!?!) and March for Babies with the Gockleys!

We're Movin' on Up!

So I've wanted to start a blog for months now, but didn't know what I would actually write about. Now that we are about to start the process of building a house...hopefully I'll have a lot to share! Like our address: 2572 Liatris Drive!

Where to start...we are building a house in "The Settlement" neighborhood in "Pla-von" (as Steven likes to call it), Plainfield address, Avon schools. We still have a house to sell, of course, in Columbus (if you know anyone interested in a 4 BR, 3BA on 2 Acres, we're all ears:)!!), but the good news is we can start building right away!!

We had our color selection meeting tonight and have all we need signed and ready to give the construction manager. We'll have our first "pre-construction" meeting in May and we should be able to close on the house in August.

If you're interested in the details, we're building an "Acacia" home by Arbor (http://www.yourarborhome.com/ ... you can check out the floor plans at their site). We can't wait to share pictures with everyone!!
