E I E I O....

In honor of Joe's birthday, I thought I'd post a little about the farm.

So this farm season is turning into a bigger endeavor than we expected!! Dominic is old enough for 4-H, so he's starting his 4-H career with PIGS!! He'll probably show 3 of them, but we have 8! Dominic also REALLY wants chickens, so be on the look out for the next chapter of farming attempts!

Last season we had good luck with our cattle co-op, so we thought we'd try again...little did we know that we'd miss the mark on cattle, so we've had a little trouble finding the right size for the right price. So, for now we are going to work on growing our own little herd:) She doesn't look pretty right now, but this little heifer has been very nice and calm around us. I wonder what the boys will decide to name her (hopefully something better than Blade the Cat...but that cat is pretty ugly, so I guess the name fits).

This gal should have a calf to add to the mix in July or August!

Of course, I can't forget a picture of our little farmer in training.
..if he could join 4-H, I'm sure he would!!

Andrew, the pig whisperer...these little guys are MUCH bigger now!

Cosmic Bowling

Dominic is ready to sends the ball down the lane...

Andrew sends himself down the lane!!

We decided to shake off some of the winter blues by going bowling with Mom, Joe, Kim, and the boys. Everyone had a good time and Steven even made a successful return to bowling after his back surgery:)

State Fair 2010

Today was our first visit to the 2010 Indiana State Fair. Steven and I have a lot more visits planned, but this is one of our favorite things to do with Joe, Kim, and the boys. It so funny to see the boys reaction to the animals. We went into the hog barn today during the show and to my surprise they didn't freak out when a pig walked by them! They also had a good time "driving" the tractors and hitting up he midway. Overall I think today was a great day AND we had beautiful weather!!

Hello There

Long time, no post, right? Well, we will have lots of photos to share soon from our trip to South Carolina and the annual Race Day party:) I just need to get the photos from the camera to the laptop. In the meantime, remember the true meaning of Memorial Day. We got to see some of the newest soldiers, thanks to Brian who has just recently graduated from Basic Training. Thank God for our servicemen and women who fight for our freedoms everyday.

Jackson Windford Williams

Steven and I got a new nephew on Friday, February 26, 2010. Jackson Windford decided to make his debut at 8pm!! James and Malari called everyone on Friday evening when Malari's water broke. We were all so surprised because Jackson (aka Putt-Putt) wasn't scheduled to arrive until March 6th via c-section! Malari still went in for a c-section because he was breech. Everything seemed to go pretty smooth for Malari and when we went back to see them, she looked great. When Steven and I went back on Saturday for another visit and Jackson was just as cute as can be! According to Malari, he's eating like a champ too! Here are just a few of the MANY pictures we have to share. There are also more on our shutterfly site: http://www.mjaj4.shutterfly.com/.

With Jackson's arrival, we can now call them Aunt Kim and Uncle Joe!!

Dominic is ready to teach his new cousin all kinds of things!

Jolly Days at the Children's Museum

Saturday we met up with Joe, Kim, and the boys to enjoy some time at the Children's Museum. We had so much fun. The boys are really amazing to see in there, they don't go very often, but they can remember all the details of the things they like the most! Kim and I both took tons of pictures, so be sure to check out our photo site to see all the pictures (http://www.mjaj4.shutterfly.com/)

Hey, these guys are our size!
We spent a lot of time in the Scienceworks area...I think all the boys loved the water!

Lost in the Dinosphere!

An Andrewasaurus :)

Dominic was so brave that he even tried Rock Climbing!! He made it halfway up the wall on his first try! Can't wait to see how far he goes the next time:)

Sir Cheeseball and Kim
Then we traveled to Egypt. Andrew wanted to take pictures, so we each posed for the other photographer...too bad my eyes were closed, I think he's gonna be a pro!

YULE SLIDE--Dominic was the winner

No trip would be complete without a chat with Santa
